Adventures of Sir Quincy
Sir Quincey Isenhopper was a fun little lopped ear rabbit I had when I was 21. Anywhere I went he joyfully went also. We spent a whole summer on hiking trails, beach combing and out fishing.
For the most part he’d hop along beside me, and when we got tired I’d carry him as he perched over my shoulder to enjoy the views.
It wasn’t any more effort to bring him as it would have been to bring a dog. He was potty trained, loved his leash and enjoyed pets from passing by hikers.
He’s since be rehomed to a cousin of mine due to my hectic remote work schedule, but here are a few fun adventures with him.
He took on Crow Pass; A 21 mile trail between Girdwood and Eagle river, Alaska.
Quincey enjoyed hopping along the trail every now and then and would rather be chauffeured by his noble steed, Morgan.
The little floofball had a great time fishing out of Kenai too! We caught multiple halibut that day from shore! That was a first for myself.
Here's the view from our 5 star hotel. If you squint you can see two eagles feasting on fish guts.
Here's Sir Quincey, in the fall, waiting for the boat to be launched! He's ready to catch some salmon!
What most of our camping trip consisted of
He loved camping, hiking, long walks on the beach and horse back rides into the sunset.
